The new Whitby Workspace is located at 3000 Garden St. at Rossland Road. Whitby Workspace is across Rossland Road from the offices of Durham Region and the Town of Whitby. This location demonstrates our commitment to Durham Region and Durham Region municipalities, while making it easier to meet with and work with our clients in the eastern GTA.
Whitby Workspace is our first smart, flexible workspace. There will be no phones or reception desk or personal computer stations. Whitby Workspace is a shared space, designed for smartphones, laptops and collaborative discussion, with private spaces for meetings.
COLE CEO Mohsen Mortada discusses the Local, Smart, Sustainable concept with Town of Whitby Councilor Chris Leahy
Whitby Workspace is, most importantly, a part of our commitment to improving sustainability and work-life balance at Cole Engineering. Encouraging our staff from Durham Region to work locally will reduce our transportation footprint, improve employee commutes and provide better opportunities to use time. The Whitby Workspace is located near Durham Transit routes 916 (Rossland Pulse Express), 303 & 318 (Garden St.), and the 312 Community Bus. Pedestrians and cyclists can take advantage of the Garden St. multi-use path. We are looking into carpooling and ride-sharing opportunities for COLE Staff.
VP Environment & Energy Dr. Muin Husain receives congratulations from guests while VP Water Management Mark Bassingthwaite and guests look on.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Whitby Workspace Open House.
